Grab three things off the kit you already have. Who made the regulator or siphon. The model as it is written on it, not from memory. And what unit size it takes now.

Two things trip people up. Going from a charger up to a 5 kg or 10 kg tank usually needs a different regulator, not just a bigger bottle. And anything damaged, altered or fixed outside what the manufacturer says should not be used at all, no matter what fits it.
